Beach Choice Fish Salad or Kinilaw Salad Recipe

Who among your family circle likes to eat fish salad? Do you like this recipe? For me, I like this too. Why most people like to eat fish salad? The main explanation is fresh fish salad is taster plus with vegetables than cook fish. Where this recipe does usually prepared? Those are several queries to tackle on while this article went through.
Fish salad or in tagalog term “Kinilaw” salad is one of the famous recipes in the Philippines. How about your country? Do you often prepare this recipe when your family will get together or have some picnic or reunion? Beach party or reunion is one of the family gathering and normally grilled pork loin along with fish salad are the two main ingredients when it comes family gathering at the beach or even in the wide field for family picnic. Have you tried preparing fish salad during family reunion? If you had tried, how’s the taste and experienced? When you say fish salad, it can be simple fish salad or with some vegetables. For me, eating fish salad while at the beach seems so challenging because normally this recipe is mixed with spicy hot chili. Therefore, it’s hot. When food is spicy, so you need to eat or consume faster. Swimming under the sea will easily make you hungry. Fish salad is the best recipe for swimming. Some people all over the world will prepare grilled pork or fish while swimming. 

I know that some of you had already tried fish salad but for those who haven’t tried yet, here is the recipe for fish salad or kinilaw salad.

Ingredients:

1 kilo fish fillets, cut into cubes
1 cup vinegar
25 pieces calamansi/lemon
3 pieces onion bulbs, minced
1 teaspoon ground pepper
½ teaspoon vetsin /seasoning
½ kilo carrots, shredded
½ kilo cabbage, shredded
Salt to taste
2-3 cups mayonnaise
2-3 pieces pounded siling labuyo or red pepper chili

How to Prepare:

You must soak fish in vinegar for one hour. Then deplete vinegar, chopped ginger, vetsin/seasoning as well as red pepper chili or siling labuyo. Consequently, add calamansi. Let it stand for 30 minutes to one hour. Drain all the liquid; add tattered or shredded carrots as well as the cabbage. Next, add mayonnaise. Lastly, you must chill the fish salad ahead of serving to have perfect taste.

Every time you plan to have beach party, just try and include this recipe for complete enjoyment. It is healthy salad with cabbage and carrots. Enjoy swimming.
